Andorran swimmers Isona Cuen and Ramon Montoto wrapped up their participation at the Comen Cup in Futog, Serbia, with personal bests in nearly every event, including strong showings on the final day against top Mediterranean youth competitors.

On the last day of competition, Cuen swam the women's 200m freestyle in 2:13.62, lowering her personal record and qualifying for the Spanish Summer Championships. Montoto recorded 24.97 seconds in the men's 50m freestyle, also a career best that highlighted his peak form.

Earlier sessions added to their tally of improvements. On day one, Montoto finished 25th in the men's 100m freestyle with a season-best 55.61 seconds, while Cuen placed 23rd in the women's 100m freestyle at 1:02.41 before taking 15th in the 400m freestyle with 4:45.67—a personal best at the time. The previous day saw Montoto 19th in the 100m backstroke at 1:05.83 and Cuen 27th in the 50m freestyle at 29.04.

Alfonso Maltrana, technical director of the Andorran Swimming Federation (FAN), praised the pair's consistency. He noted they had achieved personal bests in almost every event at the international meet and expressed optimism for the rest of the season.

The results mark a successful outing for Andorran swimming, demonstrating steady progress amid rising regional competition.
