The 28-year-old Córdoba native, from Villa del Río, saw his contract expire on June 30, with both club and player choosing not to renew. His exit marks one of the most notable departures as the Tricolor prepare for their return to the Liga Hypermotion.
Nieto arrived in the Principality ahead of the 2021-22 season under manager Eder Sarabia, playing a key role in promotion to professional football that year. The next campaign saw him loaned to Eldense, where he again helped secure promotion from Primera RFEF.
In 2023-24, he featured for half the season with Andorra in Spain's Segunda División before another loan to Elche. He then spent his final two full campaigns back with FC Andorra entirely: one highlighted by 13 league goals plus a playoff strike that contributed decisively to promotion to the Liga Hypermotion, followed by a season of consolidation in the division.
