Toni Bou Dominates TrialGP d’Andorra with Perfect 160 Points

Toni Bou of Repsol Honda delivered a flawless performance across both days of the TrialGP d’Andorra at the Naturland course in Sant Julià de Lòria, securing maximum points Sunday with just one penalty in the first lap and none in the second to stretch his championship lead to 160 points from a possible 160 after four rounds.

The Andorran resident, riding for Montesa, started Sunday from seventh position after incurring seven penalties in Saturday’s Superpole, where Gabriel Marcelli set the fastest time ahead of Jaime Busto and Matteo Grattarola. Bou pulled clear in the elite TrialGP zones amid persistent heat, dust and a drying track, finishing far ahead of teammate Marcelli on 32 penalties and Britain’s Jack Peace on Sherco in third. Saturday had seen Bou win both laps with five penalties in the first—ahead of Marcelli’s 20 and Grattarola’s 24—and three in the second, eight clear of Marcelli and 19 ahead of Busto, who took third overall that day on 26 points while Marcelli scored 34.

In the women’s TrialGP, Italy’s Andrea Sofia Rabino of Beta claimed a weekend double. She edged Spain’s Berta Abellán on Saturday via tiebreak at 37 points each—Rabino with fewer foot penalties after splitting lap wins—while France’s Alycia Soyer took third on 30. Rabino dominated Sunday ahead of Abellán and Soyer, who filled second and third. Abellán leads the standings on 114 points to Rabino’s 97.

France’s Benoit Bincaz won Sunday’s Trial2 ahead of Spain’s Arnau Farré and Britain’s Jack Dance, reversing Britain’s Billy Green’s Saturday victory where Green led on 30 points over Bincaz’s 29 and Spain’s Alex Canales’s 28. In Trial3, Italy’s Fabio Mazzola topped Saturday on 35 points ahead of Britain’s Harrison Skelton on 30, but Skelton claimed Sunday’s win ahead of Spain’s Oriol García Campano.

The 27th edition drew around 3,000 spectators for about 80 riders across four categories, as reported by the Andorran Motorcycling Federation. It opened Friday with a Super Test in Plaça de la Germandat to set start orders, followed by autograph sessions. Local riders Jordi Lestang and Edgar García missed the event through injury.

Federation president Joan-Patrick Lasmolles thanked volunteers, officials, partners and the International Motorcycling Federation for the success, crediting support from former president Natàlia Gallego. Bou hailed his team’s preparation and Marcelli’s challenge in the title fight, noting the 36-point gap remained vulnerable with 80 points available each round. The next event is in Camerino, Italy.
