FC Andorra Unveils New Right-Back Juan Sebastián from Zaragoza

Juan Sebastián, FC Andorra's new right-back from Real Zaragoza, has called the club the ideal place to regain his top form and establish himself in LaLiga Hypermotion.

The defender, who can also feature at centre-back, was officially unveiled on Tuesday at Nou Estadi de la FAF. Arriving after a difficult year at Zaragoza—which ended in relegation to Primera RFEF—Sebastián highlighted the Tricolors' unique identity in Spain's Segunda División. "It's a very attractive project with its own identity that's not common in this category. I consider it the ideal spot for me," he said.

Formed in Zaragoza's youth system over 13 years, with a loan spell at Alcorcón, he made 24 first-team appearances last season. The 26-year-old spoke of leaving a comfort zone at his boyhood club but embracing the change with enthusiasm. "Since I arrived in Andorra, you breathe something different," he noted, praising the environment around the players as perfect for growth and proving his quality.

Before signing, Sebastián sought advice from former Andorra loanees Marc Aguado and Adrià Vilanova, who gave positive accounts of their stints. He arrives eager to compete for the right-back position vacated by Thomas Carrique's solid performances last year, aiming to contribute to the team's development.

The squad's focus on young talent aligns with his ambitions for a key season. Preseason training in the Principat and San Pedro del Pinatar has started on a positive note.
