Hugo Solozábal Signs Two-Year Deal with FC Andorra from Getafe B

Hugo Solozábal, the midfielder who joined FC Andorra from Getafe B, has signed a two-year contract with the Segunda División side and described the move as a prime chance to establish himself in professional football.

The Madrid-born player was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon on the pitch at Nou Estadi de la FAF ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. He called the club "a good place to shine," pointing to its commitment to young talent and a playing style that plays to his strengths as decisive factors in his decision.

Solozábal acknowledged the jump from Segunda RFEF to the pro ranks as significant but said he approaches it confidently, drawing on his debut with Getafe's first team under José Bordalás and time training with their senior squad. "It's a huge opportunity and I'm eager to make the most of it," he said.

From the outset, he praised the welcoming atmosphere among players and staff, adding that early friendlies left him feeling at ease with the group.
