MoraBanc Andorra has officially signed American forward Cameron McGriff to a one-year contract, strengthening the frontcourt as the team prepares for its Liga Endesa debut.
The 28-year-old, 2.01 metres tall and a product of Oklahoma State University, adds physical presence, versatility, and floor-spacing ability. His professional resume spans Okapi Aalst in Belgium, AEK Athens in Greece—where he played in the Basketball Champions League—Le Mans in France, multiple NBA G League stops, and a short appearance with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sporting director Jordi Ardèvol praised McGriff's perimeter shooting, defensive skills, and rebounding prowess, along with his high competitiveness. The club still plans to add a centre to complete the roster.
McGriff becomes the sixth confirmed signing for the 2026-27 season under coach Zan Tabak, joining Owen Aquino, Lazar Mutic, Kassius Robertson, James Akinjo, and Wesley Iwundu. The 31-year-old Iwundu, a 1.98-metre Nigerian international and former NBA draftee, arrived earlier on a one-year deal, bringing perimeter defence, athleticism, and scoring punch after posting 12.3 points per game last season with South East Melbourne Phoenix in Australia's NBL.
The move replaces Yves Pons, who accepted a buyout. Returning core players include Rafa Luz, Artem Pustovyi, and Kyle Kuric, whose contract extension was secured by Chumi Ortega. Officials expect one more interior addition to finalise the squad.
