Ariadna Fenés finished the women's half marathon at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto on Thursday, securing tenth place with a time of 1:20:05 and marking the end of Andorra's participation in the event.

The Andorran athlete was the final representative from the Principat to compete, covering the 21.1km distance as the last of ten finishers. Four other entrants did not start or failed to complete the race. Fenés ended more than ten minutes behind the winner.

Moroccan runner Fatima Ezzahra Birdaha took gold in 1:09:59, setting a new Mediterranean Games record for the event. Slovenia's Klara Lukan earned silver with 1:11:22, while Croatia's Matea Parlov Kostro claimed bronze in 1:11:58.

Andorra's delegation leaves Italy with a bronze medal won by Naiara Liñán as its top achievement.
