The Equatorial Guinea goalkeeper, one of three players called up from the squad for international duty, is due to rejoin training today. He will be ready for coach Carles Manso's selection ahead of the 18:30 clash hosted by Ferran Costa's side.
Owono started both of Equatorial Guinea's Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers, securing a 1-0 victory over Sierra Leone and suffering a 2-0 defeat to the Democratic Republic of Congo. His return comes earlier than the full two-week international window, after he played 90 minutes in each game.
Prior to the break, Owono had made his first start for FC Andorra this season against Sporting de Gijón.
The other internationals face longer absences. Hugo López features for Spain Under-20 today and could train tomorrow, while Randy Schneider plays for the Philippines on Friday and will miss the Sabadell fixture.
