The third edition of the Cursa 3 Ponts race will take place in Escaldes-Engordany's historic district on Saturday, October 31, with two routes catering to different participants.
The event, run by the Escaldes-Engordany commune, seeks to encourage exercise, citizen engagement and appreciation of local heritage, particularly around the three recently restored bridges.
Councillor for sports Laura López called the setting a "privileged space" and urged entrants to run in costumes, adding that entertainment will run along the full course.
The non-competitive popular route covers 2.5 km and starts at 6pm from Prat del Roure, open to all ages. The 3.25 km competitive run, with official timing, follows at 7pm from the same location. Both finish back at Prat del Roure, where a communal hot chocolate will wrap up proceedings.
Registrations are now live on the commune's site at www.e-e.ad, with fees of €3 for the popular route and €10 for the competitive one.
