Andorran alpine skier Xavier Cornella has completed a three-day training stint at the indoor snow facility in Wittenburg, Germany, conducting five sessions alongside Switzerland's men's Europe Cup team.

Cornella, representing the Andorran Ski Federation (FAE), trained under the guidance of Fred Beauviel with technical staff member Àlex Rius present. The group linked up with the Swiss squad in what marked Cornella's first snow contact since wrapping up a South American camp on 14 September.

Piste conditions remained optimal throughout, enabling seamless collaboration. The Andorran contingent arrived on Saturday and departed Tuesday.

Beauviel praised the effort, noting excellent skiing conditions and smooth teamwork with the Swiss. He highlighted Cornella's strong form on skis and satisfaction with his ongoing preparation.

Next, the team will focus on physical conditioning in Andorra before an intensive snow block from 12 to 16 October at Val Senales in Italy. The schedule will alternate between on-snow phases and fitness work through November, when they travel to Scandinavia for the season's opening races.
