Sant Julià de Lòria is set to host a new edition of the Tomb Lauredià popular walk on Saturday, June 6, with three non-competitive routes of 4km, 9km, and 14km tailored to various ages and fitness levels.
Organised by the Comú of Sant Julià de Lòria, the event aims to promote physical activity while showcasing the parish's natural surroundings. All routes begin and end at Plaça de la Germandat, the main activity hub, where a cloakroom service will be available for participants' belongings.
The challenging 14km route features 1,035m of positive elevation gain and starts at 8am. It winds through Coll de Jou, Rocafort, Aixovall, Camí de Nagol, Sant Serni de Nagol, Aixirivall, Camí del Mas, and Sant Romà d’Auvinyà, with checkpoints and refreshment points along the way.
The 9km intermediate option, offering 735m of ascent, departs at 9am via Coll de Jou, Camí de Rocafort, Aixovall, Camí de Nagol, and Sant Serni de Nagol, returning through Camí de la Solana, also with controls and refreshments.
Families and those seeking a gentler challenge can opt for the 4km route at 10am, covering 325m of elevation through Camí de Nagol, Sant Serni de Nagol, and Camí de la Solana.
Registrations are open at visitsantjulia.com for €10, covering a bib number, a commemorative T-shirt for the first 250 sign-ups (sizes permitting), and a paella lunch with drinks from 1.30pm in front of the plaza. Children's entertainment will be on site.
Minors require a parental authorisation form, downloadable via the registration process, to be submitted when picking up bibs. The event receives backing from LAUesport and Colla Laurediana, cementing its role as a community staple blending sport, nature, and socialising.
