The Mobility Department reported delays of up to 4.5 kilometres along the southern route, extending from the border back to the vicinity of the Sant Eloi shopping centre. Congestion, which began in the early afternoon, now affects the entire southbound CG-1, including the La Margineda area, with queues initially noted at nearly three kilometres from the Farga de Moles customs point almost to the River shopping centre.
