Andorran Minister of Environment Conxita Marsol has highlighted the growing interest in electric mobility after the e-Engega 2026 programme closed its grant call on Wednesday, having received 180 applications that fully committed the €500,000 budget.
The government shut down the initiative once the allocation was exhausted, in line with regulations for electric mobility and national vehicle fleet energy efficiency grants. Although some applications await final resolution and execution, the full funding is now allocated. Launched in March, the programme supports fleet renewal with more energy-efficient, lower-emission vehicles to advance sustainable mobility and the energy transition.
Participation this year shows a 56.5% increase from 2022's 115 requests. Marsol noted: "In these four years, we have gone from 115 to 180, representing 56.5% growth," underscoring the trend of rising demand among residents and businesses.
