Andorra Police Probe Yellow Ferrari 812 for Dangerous Swerves on CG-2 Highway

Police in Andorra are investigating a yellow Ferrari 812 with a personalised plate after dashcam footage captured it performing dangerous swerves on the CG-2 highway towards Encamp, at the height of the Forces Elèctriques d’Andorra (FEDA) hydroelectric plant.

The video, filmed by French motorists and posted on TikTok by @brillant_450, has spread rapidly online, drawing sharp criticism for the driver's apparent recklessness. It depicts the supercar approaching a fixed speed camera at moderate speed before suddenly accelerating, causing it to weave sharply across lanes and skid perilously close to the guardrail next to the FEDA building. No crash occurred, and no injuries or damage were reported, but the manoeuvre took place on a busy stretch of road.

Police have confirmed they do not yet possess the footage but would probe it upon receipt and driver identification. If verified as recent, the incident could lead to administrative sanctions at minimum for endangering other road users, with potential for stricter measures given the evident disregard for road safety. Authorities emphasise that such prohibited actions on open roads warrant scrutiny under the traffic code.

Multiple sources identify the probable driver as a young Andorran entrepreneur born in La Seu d'Urgell, active in real estate and the recent launch of a subscription-based biohacking centre. The plate links to a company, and reports describe him—nicknamed "l'altre Ferrariman"—as a repeat offender with prior risky driving in high-end vehicles, not limited to Ferraris.

Initial footage reviews ruled out genuine rear traction loss from acceleration, pointing instead to a deliberate simulation of a skid without actual loss of control. Police have not disclosed the video's exact date or commented further on the suspect's identity. The case has reignited discussions on responsible driving with powerful cars on Andorra's mountain roads.
