The business group has selected Daniel Armengol Bosch as its lead candidate, with Francesc Pallàs Viladomat as substitute. According to the CEA, the slate brings extensive professional experience and strong dedication to the country's business community.
Armengol, currently linked to the presidency of Grup Heracles, holds a qualification in international business from the Institut Superior de Comerç de París. His career includes roles in strategic direction, team leadership and business development. He has also driven projects in education and social fields, and held institutional positions, notably as president of the Andorran Family Business association. In addition, he served as a general councillor during the 2009-11 and 2011-15 legislatures.
Pallàs serves as general director of Viladomat S.A.U., overseeing its operational and strategic management in competitive markets. He currently holds the position of CEA vice-president.
The CEA emphasises that the candidates hail from construction and services sectors respectively, drawing on long histories in private enterprise, associations and institutions. The proposal has backing from all economic sectors within the organisation, with the aim of providing robust business insight to the CASS during a pivotal time for Andorra's social security system.
