Ordino parish hosted its latest Crafts Market on Saturday in Plaça de la Closa, drawing crowds with around 15 stalls offering handmade goods and family-friendly activities.
The event kicked off at 11am, featuring a diverse range of artisanal products including chocolates, cured meats, cheeses, wines, jams, oils, scented candles, toys, jewellery and mugs. Visitors particularly flocked to the interactive 'Pirene' installations, which blend art, craftsmanship, mechanics and play to evoke the Pyrenees' varied landscapes.
Through pathways and mechanisms reminiscent of pinball machines, participants explored mountain peaks, valleys, forests and rivers. Designed for all ages, the setups appealed equally to children and adults. Guide José Castellano noted that adults enjoyed themselves just as much as the kids, describing the experience as having no age limits.
The market runs through Sunday from 11am to 9pm, with further entertainment and activities planned in the same location.
