CEA Nominates Armengol and Pallàs for CASS Self-Employed Board Seats

The Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) will formalise its candidacy on Wednesday to represent self-employed workers on the board of directors of the Andorran Social Security Fund (CASS), ahead of elections scheduled for 17 June.

The ticket features Daniel Armengol Bosch as the lead candidate and Francesc Pallàs Viladomat as his alternate. The CEA describes the pair as bringing extensive professional experience and a strong commitment to the country's business community.

Armengol currently serves as president of Grup Heracles and has a solid background in strategic management, team leadership, and business development. He trained in international business at the Institut Superior de Comerç de París and has held political roles in the past. He also previously led the Andorran Family Business Association (EFA) as president and has advanced projects in education and social areas, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and economic growth.

Pallàs is general director of Viladomat S.A.U., where he oversees operational management and competitive strategy. He holds the position of CEA vice-president and has built his career around strengthening companies in challenging markets.

The CEA highlights that the candidacy draws from the construction and services sectors, with both candidates offering long histories in private enterprise, associations, and institutions. The organisation states it has backing from all economic sectors it represents.
