Police in Escaldes-Engordany are investigating two burglaries with forced entry reported early this morning at a building on Carrer Josep Viladomat, near the Caldea spa complex.

A resident detected the incident around 2:30 to 3:00 a.m. via a security camera, spotting two individuals dressed in dark clothing entering one apartment. The owner promptly alerted authorities, who arrived to find the door forced open and the interior ransacked.

Officers then inspected the entire building and discovered a second apartment had been similarly targeted, with its door pried open and contents disturbed. Both properties belong to owners currently abroad.

Specialist teams have begun gathering evidence and conducting checks to identify those responsible. Police have not yet disclosed details on suspects, stolen items, or the full extent of losses. The investigation remains in its early stages.
