Oriol Olm and Lea Anción led Andorran efforts in the ski mountaineering World Cup finale in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland, finishing 29th in both the vertical race and the subsequent sprint event.
In Saturday's vertical race, contested over a 3,310-metre course with 570 metres of positive elevation gain, Olm posted the top Andorran time of 27:00.0 in the men's category. Anción matched his position in the women's field at 36:07.1, followed by Marc Casanovas in 34th (28:37.4) and Max Palmitjavila in 35th (28:59.1). The steep terrain and selective finish played out under good weather. Switzerland's Rémi Bonnet won the men's race, with France's Axelle Gachet-Mollaret taking the women's title.
On Sunday, the Andorran Mountaineering Federation (FAM) team advanced to the sprint quarter-finals but fell short of the semi-finals. In qualifying, Olm ranked 24th overall at 2:46.38, Palmitjavila 29th at 2:48.20, and Anción 23rd in the women's field at 3:41.82. Casanovas placed 41st out of 47 at 3:11.05 and did not advance.
In the quarter-finals, Olm improved to 2:37.2 but finished fourth in his heat. Palmitjavila clocked 2:47.4 for fifth in his series, while Anción hit 3:39.5 yet ended sixth. Switzerland's Jon Kistler won the men's sprint, followed by France's Thibaut Anselmet and Spain's Oriol Cardona. France's Emily Harrop claimed the women's victory ahead of Margot Ravinel and Italy's Giulia Murada.
The weekend capped the season with technical demands across disciplines. Mixed relays remain the final event.
