Golden ISARDS Andorra Trophy Raises 493 Euros for Rare Diseases

The inaugural Golden ISARDS Andorra Trophy, organised by Golden Isards Cheers Andorra alongside the Andorran Association for Rare Diseases (AMMA), raised 493.10 euros to assist those impacted by rare diseases and their families.

Held in March, the gymnastics competition brought together families, athletes, clubs and partners in an event that merged sport with charitable goals. AMMA shared the fundraising total via social media, crediting broad participation for the success. The association noted the contributions from families, gymnasts, clubs and collaborators turned the day into a showcase of athleticism and community support.

Proceeds will support AMMA's efforts to deliver specialised medical and social care for these low-incidence illnesses, which typically require substantial ongoing aid despite affecting few people. The trophy highlighted gymnastics while raising awareness of the unique challenges posed by rare conditions.

Organisers positioned grassroots sport as a means to foster social unity and back solidarity causes. AMMA thanked all participants and entities involved, emphasising how such events enhance public sensitivity and strengthen assistance for affected individuals.
