MoraBanc Andorra Extends Chumi Ortega's Contract Until 2028

MoraBanc Andorra has announced a contract extension for guard Chumi Ortega, keeping the 28-year-old Spaniard from Yecla, Murcia, with the club until June 2028.

The deal adds three more seasons to his stay after his previous agreement ended on June 30. Ortega arrived in the summer of 2024 and featured in all but one game across two campaigns, though his role shrank late in the season to around 11 minutes per match with a 2.4 average valuation.

Club representatives hailed the move as securing a player who embodies the team's core principles of effort, sacrifice, and commitment. After two years in the Principat, he has become one of the squad's most popular figures among fans for his on-court intensity, team-oriented approach, and positive presence in the locker room.
