MoraBanc Andorra has signed Bosnian forward Lazar Mutic for the 2026-2027 season, the club's second summer addition following Owen Aquino.
The 27-year-old player, listed at 2.01 to 2.03 metres tall, arrives from BC Lietkabelis Panevėžys in Lithuania's top league. There, he averaged 7.6 points per game last season while also featuring in the BKT EuroCup. Mutic signs for one season and will fill a development player slot, adding frontcourt versatility as a small forward or power forward.
A product of Real Madrid's youth academy after moving to Spain as a cadet, Mutic built his career across Spanish basketball's lower divisions, from EBA to LEB Oro and Primera FEB. His stops included UCAM Murcia, Delteco GBC, TAU Castelló, Almansa, Marbella, and Bàsquet Manresa. Prior to Lithuania, he spent two seasons with Okapi Aalstar in the BNXT League. He has also played for Bosnia and Herzegovina's youth national teams.
Sporting director Jordi Ardèvol highlighted Mutic's multi-positional flexibility and game adaptability. He emphasised the player's defensive intensity and toughness, along with his scoring threat. Ardèvol noted that Mutic's step-by-step progression to Liga Endesa level shows maturity and drive. "He arrives with strong ambition to keep developing, and we expect that energy to lift the group," Ardèvol added.
The signing supports the squad reconstruction under Ardèvol and head coach Zan Tabak as the team prepares for the upcoming campaign.
