FC Andorra has signed 25-year-old attacking midfielder Nacho Quintana on a free transfer from CD Eldense, marking the club's sixth addition this summer.
The Andorran side announced the deal on Friday, with Quintana penning a two-year contract plus an optional extra season. Born in Seseña on 23 February 2001 and standing at 1.78 metres, the player developed in the youth systems of Atlético Madrid and Sevilla, where he made his senior debut with the Andalusian club. He later gained experience at Lugo before spending the past two seasons at Eldense.
Last campaign, Quintana played a key role in Eldense's promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion, contributing 11 goals and three assists in league and cup matches. Club officials praised his ability to operate between the lines, link up with teammates, and arrive in the opposition box, along with his vision and mobility. He can also feature on the left wing.
