The pre-season basketball match between BC MoraBanc Andorra and Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos, set for 2 September at 20:00 in the Prat Gran pavilion for the ninth Trofeu Escaldes-Engordany, has been cancelled.
Organisers MoraBanc Andorra and Escaldes-Engordany commune took the decision after physical issues affecting several Burgos first-team players, alongside absences for international duties during the FIBA window, left the Spanish team short of a competitive squad.
The clubs described the circumstances as unavoidable, removing the fixture from MoraBanc Andorra's pre-season schedule.
Full refunds will be issued for all tickets. Online purchases via bca.ad will be automatically returned to the original payment method, with credits expected early next week and no further steps needed from buyers. Tickets bought in person at club offices—by cash or card—can be redeemed there or by contacting secretaria@bca.ad.
MoraBanc Andorra confirmed it would cover the full cost of entries already sold. Organisers apologised for denying fans a pre-season encounter with the team, expressing gratitude for supporters' patience.
