Starting 23 February, the free shuttle bus service linking Andorra with Andorra–La Seu d'Urgell Airport will require advance reservations to guarantee seats for passengers on regular flights.

The Andorran government's Mobility department announced the update on social media, aiming to deliver a service that is sustainable and matched to actual demand while optimizing vehicle capacity. Reservations remain free and can be made up to 48 hours before flight departure via the Andbus website (andbus.net), operated by Novatel under a four-year contract awarded last July worth €69,940 annually and extendable by two years. Users specify origin, destination, travel dates for outbound and/or return trips, and one of five pickup points: Estació Nacional d'Autobusos, Prat Salit in Santa Coloma, Rotonda de la Margineda, La Valireta in Sant Julià de Lòria, or Duana Andorrana at the Spanish border.

Passengers must present the booking confirmation—printed or digital—plus their flight ticket to board. Those requiring accessible transport for reduced mobility should indicate this when reserving to ensure a wheelchair-adapted bus is provided. The system displays default service schedules during booking, which are also available on the website.

Without a reservation, travellers cannot be assured a seat and must wait until reserved passengers have boarded before claiming any available spaces. Bookings can also be made in person at Andbus's counter in the Estació Nacional d'Autobusos.

The change applies to shuttles primarily connecting Andorra la Vella with the airport, supporting key travel links for residents.
